It is a key player in metabolism and works as a helper molecule for proteins that regulate other cellular functions. However, NAD+ levels decline with age. Nicotinamide is a precursor of essential coenzymes, including the production of NAD, and therefore, plays a significant role in supporting energy-dependent cellular processes including DNA repair. Nia-Sol gel is used in conjunction with Nia-Sol capsules to improve the appearance of red, flaky, rough patches on sun-exposed skin.
